ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT:
Hillary Hawkins is a female playwright & performer based in Los Angeles, California & New Jersey USA. Well-known as Robyn, Host of Nick Jr., she was on TV everyday introducing shows such as "Dora The Explorer", "Bob The Builder" & "Little Bill." She also was a live Host for Radio Disney. Hillary has performed in National Tours "Seussical The Musical" & "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie & Other Story Books" and Off-Broadway in "Futurology The Musical." Hawkins, who achieved her Dual BA in Spanish & Creative Writing from Smith College in just 3 years on the Dean's List while working as a Radio Personality for 106.3 Smooth FM is a Denis Johnston Playwriting Award recipient. She is playwright, lyricist, composer of the full-length musical "Jaded The Musical" (DC Black Theatre Festival, UNFringed Festival, Scratch Night at Theater for the New City) and screenwriter of "Stuck For A Reason" which aired on ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX on National TV Show "African American Short Films." Most recently, Hillary created "Molestation Monologues" which received a Voice Arts Awards nomination. Category: Author Performance, Best Voice Over.
